Playtime...

In all of the scheduling and chaos of our lives these days, I have to thank God for sending the recent bout of cold, rainy weather to Atlanta. Crazy?! Yes, I am, but I have my children to thank for that :) And just when I thought I couldn't go any further down that path the light shown down on us...in the form of playtime.

Let me explain. After welcoming the warmer, springtime weather with open arms last week, we were reminded that in order for all those beautiful May flowers to appear we need spring shower after spring shower in March...or this week, to be more specific. I was quickly running out of ways to keep the kiddos, the dog and myself sane when the stars aligned and gave us a beautifully dreary afternoon of indoor play in the bonus room. The kids played together, the kids played alone, the kids played with Mommy and Mommy took lots and lots of pictures. We dressed up, we (they) jumped, we read, we ate (or pretended to). There were a few tears and few arguments, but for the most part there were lots of smiles, lots of giggles and one very, very proud Mommy.

Kids are nuts. One can be tough, two can be twice as tough. My kids especially.

Oh, how I LOVE them!!!

SJ is precise and thoughtful.

AB likes to topple things...remember when I mentioned the tears?

No problem picking up and putting FAKE food into his mouth!

SJ singing and playing the princess wand flute!

He spun and spun and spun and spun..........

The Grand Finale!!
What a show!
